We KD Engineers team have successfully interchanged CATERPILLARS’s C-4.4 engine with more reliable, fuel efficient and sturdy DEUTZ’s BF4M-2012 Engine on SANDVIK QA440/S6 Screening Plant here in Odisha.
From last 3-4 years Screening Plant OEMs are supplying new plants with factory fitted C-4.4 engines. CAT’s C-4.4 engine comes cheaper in comparison to Deutz robust & versatile 2012 series engine. Due to Deutz trustworthy performance, some of our customers were eager to find solutions on how to change C-4.4 to Deutz in their equipments.
Team KDE was in process for the last couple of months doing all required RND & planning. Finally, we have now successfully installed Deutz engine in place of CAT C-4.4 with some required modifications being done on equipment side.
Now, we head on to similarly modify other SANDVIK Screens of our customers.
In near future, we are also planning to bring same modification on Powerscreen screening plants with C-4.4 Engine.
